Bare Knuckle Boxing: From the Ring to the Street
What Others Have Said
Best of the Best
Great Course!! With a scholarship so typical of Rodney, the material is presented in a logical step by step learning progression and then dissected and analyzed in a minute detail which makes it probably one of the best courses of the planet! The compete beginners can hardly find a better start-up material that will give them rock-solid bases in the CMD system and its Real-life application, and those of us who has been following the Coach Rodney's work from the very beginning have an opportunity to re-fresh the basics , check the overall framework of the system, improve the mechanics and structure and receive a tons of new tools and updates that will enhance their performance in both inside and outside of the gym. If you are seriously interested in the ,,Science of Fighting’’ you cannot afford to miss this course.
This by far is the best online course I have participated in. It looks intimidating when you begin but Mr.King has a way of getting the material over to you and he is second to none. It is a living breathing body of work, he keeps you busy staying up with all the new material he constantly adds what he adds and it's not just fluff. He always makes himself available for any questions you might have! This program alone can save your ass without a doubt if you find yourself in a position that you would have to defend yourself!! Glad I found this site, thanks so much Mr.King!
REALISTIC AND EFFECTIVE
By: Zunaid Mamdoo
i have 2 decades of studying and coaching various martial arts and i find Rodney's realism on combat extremely effective with techniques that could be implemented by anybody, regardless of background or previous training. i strongly feel that even competitive combat athletes could change their game by covering the material discussed in Rodneys program. This course is an accurate portrayal of techniques and mindset developed by someone who has been there , and experienced it .. and not simply some coach who just passes down a lesson and has never walked the walk of interpersonal conflict. if you are serious about your game or about realistically implementing the use of an ungloved weapon , well then this should be a no brainer. i highly recommend any of Rodney King's programs. What a great course - each lesson has so many nuggets of learning and the intricacies are amazing - I look forward to learning more and more I'm on the team monkey now
Coach King Delivers
I have been following Coach King's work for years and I am very happy to see the constant improvement of the core system. Simple, reliable, principle based training, immediately applicable both in the combat arena or on the street. Hours of footage, step by step progression, frequent updates and bonuses - great stuff! Thank you Rodney! Pavel Macek, Czechia, Europe
Bare Knuckle Boxing
Thanks Rodney, the course is really accessible and easy to watch and apply, I look forward to see what courses you will offer in future.
No matter what level you will learn something
A subject that seems rarely touched on in martial arts training gets the reality training instruction it deserves. Every lesson is direct and focused. No BS. Everyone no matter what style or skill level will gain from these lessons. I love that new lessons continue to be added.
Rodney covers the in and outs of the fight game and painstakingly defines the phases using the reknowned CMD 1, 2 and 3. Well done Mr. King.
Bareknuckle Boxing course is Rodney’s best work to date
I have been exposed to Rodney's Crazy Monkey (CM) material since 2002 or so. I've been to seminars from that time and have a number of video instructionals going all the way back to the SBG VHS (yes, I still have VHS) series, and the earliest self pressed DVDs. I have always been impressed with Rodney's approach, both on the system's technical merits, and Rodney's ability to explain and teach the system in a clear cut, easy to absorb manner. I have only recently come back in touch with Rodney's current material after more than a decade away and I am impressed on how the CM system has continued to be refined, both in technique and presentation of the system which includes better video production values. Looking at his recent material, it is a pleasure to see things I'd learned before presented in an even better manner than I originally learned it, as well as the refinements and additions to the system since I was originally exposed to it. Bareknuckle Boxing continues in tradition of getting better in every aspect. It addresses the entire CM system: CM1, CM2, CM3 in one place. The presentation has also improved. What's new is bringing punching bareknuckle to the forefront - i.e. that's how you'll punch in real life self defense situation. While Rodney has addressed punching without gloves in his previous instructionals, the dedicated focus on bareknuckle boxing should bring a new dimension to one's ability to strike in a self defense situation. If you could only buy one course of his, this would be the one. It's his best effort to date and in my opinion sets the standard for functional striking instructionals
From the ring to the street…and wherever you want to take it!
I have always Rodney's material, but with this course he has found the way to present both his technical approach to fighting and the philosophy and principles behind it in the best possible manner. Unlike so many instructional packages out there, this is the course in the true meaning of the word - ever evolving, expanding, with new details and explanations added over time, all for the purpose of delivering only the best to the clients. And it does so successfully! It is evident from the overall format of the course (detailed, progressive, logical, comprehensive) that Rodney sincerely cares about the end user of the program, and that alone makes the whole experience rather unique. The bottom line is - the Bare Knuckle Boxing program sets the bar astonishingly high and could serve as the benchmark for evaluating all other martial art/combative instruction available elsewhere.
